This consultation is the first stage of the Chichester Local Plan Review, which will update the current Local Plan to provide a new policy framework for planning and development in the District outside the South Downs National Park up to It is only two years since the Council adopted the Chichester Local Plan: Key Policies ().

This report presents the findings ofa detailed Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) survey of ha of land to the east of East Wittering, near Chichester, West Sussex.

History. The small village of Pyecombe is situated in a long, deep valley (or coombe) formed by the river Wellesbourne as it flows towards the English Channel at Brighton.
